Conklin, Ruch lead P/C/S past Dunkirk/Forestville/Fredonia
PANAMA — Evan Conklin and Nathan Ruch were double winners for the first time in their careers, while Kody Howard was also a double winner as Panama/Clymer/Sherman 104-59 over Dunkirk/Forestville/Fredonia in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association boys swimming and diving Tuesday.
Conklin claimed the 200-yard individual medley (2:36.18) and 100-yard backstroke (1:08.61), while Ruch captured the 200-yard freestyle (2:17.93) and 500-yard freestyle (6:07.19) for the hosts. Howard was victorious in the 50-yard freestyle (23.30) and 100-yard freestyle (51.01).
Trenton Krenzer’s win in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.89) was the lone individual victory for Dunkirk/Forestville/Fredonia.

OLEAN — Landon Frederes, Conner Dean and Miles Moore each won a pair of events to send Frewsburg/Southwestern/Jamestown/Falconer past Olean/Allegany-Limestone/Franklinville/Portville 111-72.
Frederes took the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.45) and 100-yard backstroke (58.62); Dean captured the 200-yard individual medley (1:58.50) and 500-yard freestyle (4:49.77); and Moore claimed the 50-yard freestyle (21.95) and 100-yard freestyle (48.81) for the visitors, who won every event but the 1-meter diving competition.
