Cornell powers Maple Grove past Pine Valley
ELLERY — Junior Bryanna Cornell had a career-high 24 points to go along with 13 rebounds as Maple Grove beat Pine Valley 48-29 in nonleague girls basketball Friday.
Claire Price had 8 points, Dani Trim had eight rebounds and Meg Ryan had six rebounds for the Red Dragons (11-2, 8-1 CCAA D2), who led 23-12 at halftime.
Danica Farnham led the Panthers (7-2, 5-0 CCAA D4) with 10 points and Sarah Kruszka had 9.
