Dunkirk boys bowling wins, girls fall
JAMESTOWN — The Dunkirk boys bowling team swept Jamestown, while the girls fell to the Red & Green in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 action at Jamestown Bowling Company on Wednesday.
Michael Glowniak tossed 183-210-194 as Dunkirk (17-7) posted a linescore of 722-888-716-2,326 against Jamestown’s 717-758-663-2,138.
Hans Lemiszko rolled a 160-256-560 for Dunkirk and Kameron Keppel scored 172-431.
Jamestown (5-27) was led by Diesel Cowan shooting 168-180-174-522 and Collin Jock 170-467
The Red & Green girls posted a linescore of 630-563-719-1,912 to Dunkirk’s 514-628-588-1,730.
Victoria Higbee hammered 176-235-540 for Jamestown (17.5-10.5), Addison Cappalino hit 179-170-174-523 and Jamie Beaver had 176-190-493.
Dunkirk (14-10) was led by Hayden Cerrie hitting 198-172-516.
CASSADAGA VALLEY BOYS, GIRLS SWEEP
FREDONIA — Matthew Runge rolled 184-179-513 to send Cassadaga Valley boys past Chautauqua Lake 626-735-722-2,083 to 604-591-629-1,824 in Division 2 at Lucky Lanes.
Jordon Swanson added 167-164-473 for the Cougars (13-23).
Chautauqua Lake (1-23) was led by Logan Little’s 172-449.
The Cassadaga Valley girls rolled 597-556-541-1,694 to 319-349-390-1,058.
Emma Nickerson hammered 215-223-204-642 for the Cougars (27-5).
Alanna Delcamp hit 158-179-448 for Chautauqua Lake (2-22).
FORESTVILLE GIRLS SWEEP, BOYS SPLIT
FREDONIA — The Forestville girls swept Clymer/Sherman 651-539-550-1,740 to 518-481-525-1,524 in Division 2.
Alexandra Kerstetter smashed 203-194-544 for the Hornets (19-5) and Megan Gruber hit 170.
Clymer/Sherman (9-11) was led by Olyvia Redlecki’s 186-170-487.
The Forestville boys split 886-674-775-2,315 to 850-524-746-2,420.
Tyler Waugh led Forestville (24-4) with 204-178-524, Tucker Merritt hit 220-512, Alexander Lucas rolled 187-474 and Troy Muck had 175-462.
