Forestville girls top Timberwolves 60-35
FORESTVILLE — Carliene Sliwa scored 25 points, made seven steals and five rebounds to lead Forestville past Cattaraugus-Little Valley 60-35 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 4 girls basketball action on Wednesday.
Liz Case provided a double-double for the Hornets (4-2, 3-1) with 23 points and 12 rebounds, Ingrid Gibson collected eight rebounds and five steals, both Iris Muck and Chymerah Genovese had four steals and Madison Hall added five rebounds.
The Timberwolves (4-4, 2-2) were led by Bernie Butcher with 10 points and Kadie Benzel was the top rebounder.
