Fredonia/Westfield’s Draggett claims shot put at B/C Inter-Divisional

HOUGHTON — Five local individuals picked up victories at the Section VI B/C Inter-Divisional meet Saturday at Houghton University’s Kerr-Pegula Field House.

Jamestown senior Jarren Cotter won the boys 300-meter dash in 36.17 seconds, senior teammate Emily Cardinale won the girls pole vault at 10 feet, 3 inches, Red & Green junior Javiana Matos took the girls weight throw at 41 feet, 8 inches, Fredonia/Westfield sophomore Callie Draggett won the girls shot put at 31 feet, 7 inches, and Jamestown senior Belle Johnson claimed the girls 1,000 meters in 3:24.33.

Falconer/Frewsburg/Maple Grove/Randolph senior Cody Kent was second (2:44.92), junior Ethan Verbosky was third (2:51.85) and junior Jacob Lewis was fourth (2:52.82) in the boys 1,000 meters.

Jamestown was first in the boys 800-meter relay with a time of 1:36.43. Falconer/Frewsburg/Maple Grove/Randolph won the boys 3,200-meter relay with a time of 9:04.16.

Falconer/Frewsburg/Maple Grove/Randolph was third (3:55.08) in the boys 1,600-meter relay.

Falconer/Frewsburg/Maple Grove/Randolph was second (1:54.75) in the girls 800-meter relay.

Jamestown was second (4:45.75) and Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove/Frewsburg/Randolph was fifth (5:19.74) in the girls 1,600 meter relay.

Falconer/Frewsburg/Maple Grove/Randolph was fourth (11:49.71) and Jamestown was fifth (12:10.30) in the girls 3,200-meter relay.

Jamestown junior Wyatt Olmstead was second (4:54.28) and junior Rhys Kelly was fifth (5:14.84) in the boys 1,600 meters.

Jamestown senior Brighton Lumia was second (8:43) in the boys 55-meter hurdles.

Falconer/Frewsburg/Maple Grove/Randolph senior Grace Lennon was second (7.7) in the girls 55-meter dash and third (44.62) in the girls 300-meter dash.

Falconer/Frewsburg/Maple Grove/Randolph junior Owen Erlandson was third in the boys 600-meter run in 1:31.91.

Jamestown junior Jorge Rivera Jr. was third (19-4.75) in the boys long jump and fourth (10-6) in the boys pole vault.

Jamestown sophomore London Hamilton was third (5:28.76) in the girls 1,500 meters.

Fredonia/Westfield senior Delaney Kaiser was third (1:44.84) in the girls 600-meter run.

Falconer/Frewsburg/Maple Grove/Randolph sophomore Syndey Simmons was third (9.66) and senior Olivia Hallenbeck was fourth (9.77), while Cardinale was fifth (9.94) in the girls 55-meter hurdles.

Fredonia/Westfield junior Mariella Russo was third (4-8) and sophomore Elizabeth Saunders was fourth (4-8) in the girls high jump.

Fredonia/Westfield eighth-grader Jordan Morris was third (27-1) and Matos was fourth (25-11) in the girls shot put.

Falconer/Frewsburg/Maple Grove/Randolph sophomore Sopheia Nelson-Bennett was third (9:00.60) in the girls 1,500-meter race walk.

Falconer/Frewsburg/Maple Grove/Randolph senior Anthony Wood was fourth (40-1.5) and senior Charles Sundquist was fifth (39-9.25) in the boys shot put. Sundquist was also second (52-6) in the boys weight throw.

Falconer/Frewsburg/Maple Grove/Randolph junior Brea Rubrecht was fourth (30-6.5) in the girls weight throw.

Falconer/Frewsburg/Maple Grove/Randolph sophomore Evalyn Fessel was fifth (3:36.24) in the girls 1,000 meters.

A/D INTER-DIVISIONAL

HOUGHTON — Dunkirk/Forestville/Silver Creek and Salamanca had multiple winners at the Section VI A/D Inter-Divisional on Saturday at Houghton University’s Kerr-Pegula Field House.

Dunkirk/Forestville/Silver Creek senior Riley Smith Mallon won the boys shot put at 43 feet, 5 inches, while Salamanca freshman Jamila Nelthrope won the girls 55-meter dash in 7.69 seconds and the girls 300-meter dash in 44.1 seconds.

Dunkirk/Forestville/Silver Creek freshman Leah Mays won the girls 1,000 meters in 3:20.97, while Salamanca junior Gabrielle Bly was third (3:33.20).

Salamanca senior Ryanna Brady won the girls 1,500 meters in 5:25.28 and the girls 3,000 meters in 11:32.64.

Salamanca senior Isabella Milks won the girls high jump at 5 feet, was second in the girls triple jump (32.9-25) and was fourth (14-6.5) in the girls long jump.

Salamanca senior Aubrey Domres was third (26-6) in the girls shot put and fifth (28-5.25) in the girls weight throw.

Dunkirk/Forestville/Silver Creek won the girls 1,600-meter relay in 4:33.04 and was fifth (12:43.87) in the girls 3,200-meter relay.

Dunkirk/Forestville/Silver Creek senior Johnee Thomas was second (36.03) in the boys 300-meter dash.

Dunkirk/Forestville/Silver Creek sophomore Emily Bain was third (1:51.90) in the girls 600-meter run.

Nelthrope tied for third (7-0) in the girls pole vault.

Dunkirk/Forestville/Silver Creek senior Ben Bock was fourth (2:50.43) in the boys 1,000 meters

Dunkirk sophomore Molly Shaw was fourth (46.06) in the girls 300-meter dash.

Dunkirk/Forestville/Silver Creek was second (1:41.98) in the boys 800-meter relay, fourth (4:03.93) in the boys 1,600-meter relay and third (9:54.60) in the boys 3,200-meter relay.
