SC boys, girls bowling swept by Falconer
JAMESTOWN — Erik Stenstrom spilled a 219-517 to lead Falconer to a 4-0 sweep of Silver Creek in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 boys bowling Tuesday at Jamestown Bowling Company.
Javier Gonzales added a 172-176-499 for the Golden Falcons (26-10), who finished with a team linescore of 811-810-720-2,341.
The Black Knights (12-28) finished with a 527-648-603-1,778.
In the girls match, Rachael Wallace’s 180-178-526 led Falconer to a 4-0 sweep.
Alexis Cross added a 183-459 for the Golden Falcons (22-10), who finished with a 573-489-498-1,560.
The Black Knights (1-35) rolled a 390-429-442-1,261.
GOWANDA SWEEPS GATORS
GOWANDA — Gavin Whitcher cracked a 179-179-527 to lead Gowanda’s boys to a 4-0 sweep of Allegany-Limestone in Division 3 action at K&L Lanes.
Nicholas Smuda rolled a 190-182-516 for the Panthers (38-2), who finished with a team linescore of 935-867-977-2,779.
Milo Backus had a 189-513 for the Gators (34-6), who finished with a 781-862-876-2,519.
Gowanda’s girls also won 4-0, led by Bailey Shields and Aubrey Smuda.
Shields had a 194-182-532 and Smuda drilled a 203-509 as the Panthers (25-15) finished with an 801-917-780-2,498.
The Gators (22-18) finished with a 713-712-730-2,155, led by Kiyah Mohr’s 170-467.
