BROCTON — Carson Swanson posted a triple-double with 39 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, while adding eight steals and two blocks to lead Westfield past Brocton 72-57 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 boys basketball action on Monday.

Zach Maguire added 13 points, seven rebounds and eight blocks for the Wolverines (11-1, 6-0) and Braylon Swanson had three assists and two steals.

Brocton (3-7, 1-4) was led by Michael Garcia with 22 points and Nathan Laurito with 15.

PANTHERS DOWN WILDCATS

SHERMAN — Carter Brink scored 22 points, dealt seven assists and had three steals to lead Panama past Sherman 61-43 in Division 2 play.

Jordan Mescall hit five triples while scoring 17 points with three steals for the Panthers (6-1, 4-1), Tate Catanese collected eight rebounds with four steals and two blocks, Bryce Hinsdale had four assists, Andrew Spiesman reeled in seven boards and Alex Barmore added eight boards, two steals and a block.

Sherman (5-5, 2-4) was led by Nolan DeKoning with 9 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals and Jacob Ferranto added six blocks.
