Cassadaga Valley girls roll Clymer
SINCLAIRVILLE — Aliyah Hopkins posted a double-double with 14 points, 12 rebounds and two blocked shots to lead Cassadaga Valley past Clymer 54-26 in nonleague girls basketball action Thursday.
Emiley Anderson paced the Cassadaga Valley (13-4) offense with 19 points and seven steals; Breonna Hopkins had four rebounds and four steals; Payton Meder collected five rebounds; Hailey Anderson picked up four steals; and Maddie Debo added six rebounds.
Clymer (5-13) was led by Ava Nyweide with 17 points and five rebounds; Janelle Burchanowski dished out four assists; and Elli Bodamer and Lilly Johnson both had four rebounds.

SALAMANCA — Maliyah Foster scored 13 points to lead Salamanca past nonleague Ellicottville 43-26 in the Warriors’ fifth annual Swish Away Cancer Game
More than $3,000 from a basket raffle, baked goods sale, concessions, T-shirt sales and 50/50 drawing will benefit Roswell Park and local food pantries.
Leilene McComber and Skyla Dowdy added 8 points apiece for the Warriors (11-6, 8-2 CCAA D1).
