Forestville boys hold off Cougars 46-41 to wrap up regular season
FORESTVILLE — Forestville led 25-12 at halftime en route to a 46-41 nonleague boys basketball win over Cassadaga Valley to end the regular season Friday afternoon.
Jacob Anders led the Hornets (14-6) with 17 points, followed by Max Tenamore and Jack Spengler with 8 points apiece.
Cameron Katilus scored 19 points, while Brody Hawkins and Mason Debo scored 8 points apiece for the Cougars (0-19), who made it a closer game with a season-high 19-point third quarter.

WHITE HAS BIG DAY
SILVER CREEK — Simon White had 28 points and eight rebounds as Silver Creek edged nonleague JFK 68-66.
Brady Eick added 16 points, while Alan Hoelzle chipped in 10 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three blocked shots for the Black Knights (10-10), who led 39-34 at halftime.
JFK finished its regular season with a 6-14 record.
