OLEAN — Frewsburg/Falconer/Jamestown/Southwestern claimed 10 of 12 events en route to winning the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association swimming & diving championships Friday night at the Olean Middle School pool.

Three swimmers captured two individual events apiece for the Bears, who finished with 440 points. They were Landon Frederes in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.98) and the 100-yard backstroke (55.98); Conner Dean in the 200-yard individual medley (1:53.75) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:41.33); and Miles Moore in the 50-yard freestyle (21.16) and the 100-yard freestyle (47.54). Grady Moore was victorious in the 100-yard butterfly (55.60) for Frewsburg/Falconer/Jamestown/Southwestern).

The Bears also claimed the 200-yard medley (1:35.84), the 200-yard freestyle (1:34.50) and the 400-yard freestyle (3:16.49) relays.

Kai Warner of Olean/Allegany-Limestone/Portville/Franklinville, which finished in second place with 366 points, won the diving (314.50).

Trenton Krenzer of Dunkirk/Forestville/Fredonia placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02) as the Marauders finished fourth with 120 points.

Panama/Clymer/Sherman placed third with 254 points.
