Panama boys roll Brocton

PANAMA — Carter Brink became the all-time leading scorer in Panama basketball history in the Panthers’ 97-61 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 win over Brocton on Monday.

Brink entered the game needing 4 points to surpass Cameron Barmore’s previous mark of 1,404 points and ended the night with 30 points to go along with five rebounds, four assists and three steals.

The Panthers led 19-8 after the first quarter and 48-27 at halftime.

Andrew Spiesman added 14 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots; Michael Horton had 14 points, three rebounds and three assists; Bryce Hinsdale had 12 points and six assists; and Jordan Mescall had 10 points, three rebounds, three steals and two assists for the Panthers (12-2, 9-1).

Michael Garcia led the Bulldogs (5-10, 2-7) with 25 points and Jeremy Weisner had 14.
